People who are interested in exploring parts of the ocean that are a little deeper will find that completing the trimix diver course will give the knowledge and practical skills to go to those places they have always wanted. Trimix is a term used for a gas mixture that has had portions of oxygen and nitrogen adjusted by another gas, typically helium is used. There are to great benefits to this, firstly by decreasing the percentage of oxygen in the gas means that at greater depths oxygen toxicity is not a great a risk and secondly by decreasing the percentage of nitrogen means that the diver is less susceptible to nitrogen narcosis at the same depths that they may have been previously.
The start this course the diver must have a minimum of 100 dives with 25 deeper than 30 metres.
