Iddlebiddy Cave

Cave Dives
Mt Gambier
Mt Gambier, SA
Iddlebiddy cave has long and straight white walls and is an excellent dive for photography.

Profile

Iddlebiddy has a solution tube around 800mm wide and 8M deep. A team with climbing gear is required to enter and exit the cave.

There is a single large passage running south-east for around 250 metres and ends on a small room which is easily silted up.

It is a delicate cave and care is required not to silt things up. There are many large blocks of clay on the floor that have fallen from the roof.

As you can see from the photos it is a bright cave which really stands out with the lights on.
