In the water near Melbourne, there are over 60 wrecks you can dive on, starting in around 3 metres down to 100 metres. The particular wreck we dived today is not fully identified, but it does offer an array of fish life, sponges and invertebrates.

A Great White Shark recently went for a gently swim with local divers. The shark was a wonderful sight for divers and was around 2Km offshore. Over the weekend over 100Kg of rubbish was removed from underwater at the Mordialloc beach. Over 50 people participated and together they retrieved over 300 metres of fishing line, hooks, sinkers all sorts of general waste like, cigarette butts, plastic bag, aluminium cans and much more. The dive at Rye Pier on Thursday night did not show any Spider Crabs but there were 4 different species of Octopus, including a very colourful Bluering.
