Early December 2016 has shown some of the best conditions seen in Bass Strait for some time. With around 25M visibility, divers have been able experience the ships graveyard with ease. Over the past couple of weeks the conditions continued to improve from around 15M to 25M on Wednesday Dec 7th.
The Dunloe and Beverwijk wrecks were dived on board Chimney Rock Charters, they are around the 45M mark and each wreck has been a joy to visit for all divers and especially the photography team. The team has planned shots to capture during the dives and in each occasion been reasonably successful.
The waters actually have a ‘tropical look’ with deep blue colours and no sediments. During the trips out to the sites Dolphins have been sighted. Get out there divers!
