Portsea Pier is a beautifully easy site to dive. Public toilets with showers, cafe, dive shops a plenty and the launching pad for dive boat charters. The array of life you can find here in the 3-5m is not only varied but changes every time I dive it, a very seasonal pier, and keep a super keen eye out for the Brittle Stars. Best to dive at slack water or on an ebbing tide – the flood tide carries swell in with it and makes for an adventurous dive!
